The title is self-explanatory to what I need. I need Access to open MS Excel and run a macro that exists already in Excel in the process. Any ideas?

Need Excel Chart with 2 Y-Axes & 2 Chart Types

I'm trying to make a chart in Excel 97. Let me try to explain the chart as best as I can. It is rather simple to imagine (since I can't show you). I need to make a chart with 2 Y-Axes. One Y-axis should be a stacked bar type (each bar is comprised of only 2 values). The other Y-axis is simply a...

    Problem with Locking Database

For some reason, I'm able to delete the mdb file and the ldb file today. I could have sworn it didn't work before. This should take care of me.

    Problem with Locking Database

I'm not able to delete the *ldb file. In other databases, it goes away automatically when the *.mdb file is closed. In this case I cannot get everyone to close. Is there anyway I can delete these files if this is the case?

Excel Macro that Dumps Access Query into Excel

The Subject pretty much describes what I need to do. I would like to run a macro (in Excel) that runs an Access query and dumps the fields and records from the query over into Excel. If possible the dumped data coming into Access can have its own worksheet, but I have other worksheets with other...

    Open Form to User-Specified Size

In Access 97, I would like to open up a form to a certain size. I would like to specify how big I would like the form. Instead of blowing it up all the way as in the code: DoCmd.Maximize I would like to instead open it up to a size I specify. Any suggestions?

    Need to Disable Close Button

Yes I am placing the code in 4 different places. Also, if you notice in Jazz’s step 1, it sounds like just that is supposed to solve my problem but it isn’t. But I am familiar with events and declaring variables. Everything is in the right spot. What happens when I enter all the code...

    Need to Disable Close Button

Sure jazz is obviously diligent in providing solutions. Thanks for the help. I guess my trouble may be because I'm working with Access 97. My references are as follows: Visual Basic for Applications MS Access 8.0 Object Library MS DAO 2.5/3.5 Compatibility Library (I tried 3.51 also) Jazz...

    Need to Disable Close Button

Ok, how will I be able to send the database to you? I created an entirely new database with a new form. Then I made the changes to the form format as follows: Border Style = None Control Box = No Min Max Buttons = None Close Button = No Afterwards, I'm still faced with the same problem. I...

    Need to Disable Close Button

None of this works for me. The close button ("x") is only disabled when the form is not fully maximized. I need it to work when the form is fully maximized. Any thoughts/suggestions?

    Need to Disable Close Button

I would like to disable the CLOSE ("x") button on a form. I have attempted to do this by going into the Form's properties and choolse Close Button = No in the format tab. When the form is not fully maximized this works fine. But when it is maximized, the Close Button is active. Any...

Yeah that is cool. But this is a system that I'm implementing for users in a department here at work. I need the previous date to automatically pull up.
