help: i want to remove nw from a hard drive. it will not recognize the floppy with format.com on it. i have tried to get format.com onto the drive.

i can't get the floppy install nor the cdrom to boot up even when i have selected the cd as bootable.???

i have a netware server that i wish to totally convert to linux. must i have windows installed to do this? how else could i install from what is now a basic dos machine? thanx for all of your previous help gary

also mysql and apache on the server - probably use php - serve up intranet web pages

the linux server will be used for file sharing and emails - all applications for users will be on the windows XP clients -

any suggestions on how to make this work - perhaps a good setup - i have looked at Samba - any other suggestions for the right mix of apps and features - all of the windows clients are running XP

to re-phrase: i have outlook express *.pst files which have a password attached and no-one remembers the correct password. i have moved the message files on a different computer and they seem to work? gary

i am trying to move some e-mail folders to a new computer. outlook express 2000 running on WIN 98 asks for a password to allow the Message *.pst's can be copied to disk. is there a workaround??? i was able to back up the e-mail addresses to a floppy with no problems. gary chisum

someone sent my boss a warning about jdbgmgr.exe saying that after 14 days is can cause trouble. she is freaked. i have seen this file on several different machines including 98 and XP and one XP machine which did not have it. it is labeled "Debugger Registrar for Java". What gives...
