You can pass arguments via the command line in the form -Vyour_var_name=your_var So, if I understand your question, you would want -VFrom_Date="2003-01-01" -VTo_Date="2003-04-01" You could then reference $From_Date and $To_Date in the DS Build.- gjruppert

Cognos Series 7 with Active Directory
I can't answer all of of you questions but I know that you cannot have Series 7 and pre-Series 7 running at the same time on the same machine. If you've installed Series 7 there should be some documentation with upgrade procedures inculded. They are pretty explicit on how to run old and new...- gjruppert
