Some users have reported some errors when sending mail using the "To "and the "CC" options together.
Lets say for example my domain name is "Gareth.com".
If the "To" box contains any external domain and the "CC" box contains my domain, e.g. "john.smith@gareth.com" then I get an error message...
In Groupwise if I OPEN a file and click PRINT I get the groupwise print page , followed by a windows print page.

1) main folders/shared drive common to everyone and allows users to do anything they wish = all rights except supervisor

cbailey, Lets just check that you are using a Novell Network Only, or is at a mixture with Windows or Linux or ?
Presuming it is just a Novell Network:
1) you have assigned "F" & "R" file rights so people can See and read documents/folders.
2)I also presume you have assigned "C" (create) but...

Again its not very practicle but,,,, if you have nwadmin or consoleone you could disable the users account. I dont think this is instant but takes 2 or 3 mins to taje effect. The time out settings must be able to be configured somehow,,, ill try & find out how.
good point "The Lad" I tried testing Console Monitor and for me it always kills the connection but its maybe going to be under different circumstance for each network? Im fortunate as I work for a small company and only have an IT staff of 2 so Im responsible for a lot and could always pull the...
If you have specific users that you need to quickly "KILL" then you could either sit at teh server oruse RConsole and the "Netware Console Monitor" Hope this helps.

Memebers of one dept all get Spam mail and Im wondering if its possible to block the address from the server rather than individually do a rule for every client. Company is real small though so wouldnt buy GWAIWA etc. I thought maybe a download from cool solutions or can I configure the GWIA...

Solution: at present im just blocking by individual clients in a Rule ( v early stage) but im thinking surely this coulbe done via the main server?
Users are maybe 6/10 pleased
