If I scrap the edge sync and rebuild it, everything works fine. The problem occurs after a few weeks of it seeming to run fine. So if I run a start-edgesyncronization right after a reinitialization of the Edge Sync, it works fine.
We currently have 2 Exchange 2007 Servers, one running Edge Transport, and the other running all other roles (Mailbox, client access, Hub Transport). The problem we are having that new emails we add tend not to work. After investigating, the edge sync seems to be failing every few weeks with the...
I am hoping someone has some experience with both of these systems, or comparable systems. We are currently running an HP DL380 Windows Storage Server with 8 300GB 15k SAS Drives. This is supporting four VMware ESX hosts running about 40 VMs.
We are looking at buying an EMC AX4 with 8+1 SATA...
Is that the only way to do it? Because I need to have both SSIDs going to the same VLAN, as we have a BlueSocket appliance handling authentication, I just wanted to give the option of authentication or no authentication for our staff and public access.
I am working on something very similar, with AP1200s, and the problem that I am having is that it only lets me configure the encryption on the radio level, not the SSID level, so I configure TKIP+WEP 128 on the radio and it asks for a key when I use my public side. I have configured WPA on the...
I have an AT&T 8525 which I am working on Direct push on our exchange server. I have had no problem getting it set up, however the devices seems to still be syncing every 30 minutes, or maybe less.. is this normal, even with the direct push?
Thank you
No, we will be changing the address of the AS/400 to our data center's network IP. I talked to cisco about it and they suggested basically using routes to route traffic for that IP address to the concentrator, then changing the tunnel to send the data for that address over then vpn, and then...
Hello,
We are trying to forward an IP address of an AS/400 from one side of a VPN tunnel, to the other. Basically we are moving the AS/400 from one side of the VPN, to our data center on the other. The problem is, all of the clients have the old IP address in their software, so we are trying to...
Are you still having this issue? I remember a while back seeing something kind of similar to this at the place I used to work. From what I remember they had to go in and delete the computer accounts so they could be recreated... dont take my word on that, just trying to possibly give another...
another question, can I use a Cisco 837 as a IPSEC/ISAKMP VPN endpoint from a PIX, it looks like I can but I am not sure. Also can I have multiple internal interfaces with that router? I need to seperate the internal networks and allow one straight out to the internet and one to pass through the...
Also it is a DSL circuit so I can only have one mac address behind the DSL modem. This is the main reason I have to have a router to nat everything, so it will all be coming from one mac address.
There is no router currently in place, and I have to seperate our network from their network down there. Also I cannot do a VLAN trunk into the PIX 501. We currently have them behind our firewall, but we wanted to move them in front of our firewall and let them be on a completely seperated...
The Cisco ASA appliance is supposed to at some point replace the PIX, but from what I understand the highest end ASA is not quite on par with the PIX 535. I am not sure if they will come out with a higher end ASA appliance or not. The only reason I know this is because a friend of mine's company...
I am trying to setup a VPN to another company's office which we are doing some buisness with. They do not have much of any infrastructure, so I am having to design the network down there myself. What I need to do is have our PIX 501 to VPN to, and a router in front of it so their PC can be on...
I have a cisco 4006 with a SUP II card, running CatOS. This switch has a router/switch card. For some reason when a switch which is connected to the 4006 reboots, the 4006 thinks this link should be a trunk and turns that port into a trunk port, killing the connection to the remote switch. We do...
