    I would wait before removing the files. There is an issue with sp1, If you upgrade Windows Server 2003 to SP1, you may experience ADSI-related problems. Check out Microsofts infor on this; http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;894277

    Cleaning up Active Directory?

    OK I am trying to use the dsquery computer, I am able to do a general "look up" on computer but when I add the "-inactive" switch I get an error. "Windows could not run this query because you are connected to a domain that does not support this query." any thoughts?

    Any one know of an easy way to find unused objects in AD, ie; We have computer objects we know are no longer being used (changed computer name as users leave and new ones are hired), over time we can get alot of garbage in AD. Any report MS has or a third party?
