The issue turned out to affect 3 machines. One machine somehow cleared up the issue by itself and I changed the name on the other 2 computers and they started to work fine. The users were too embedded in the data to delete so I was saving that one as a last resort. Thanks for all the help.

This is the first time I have seen this error and have
been unable to solve. The user is able to login to mas90
but when he goes to sales order module and tries to bring
up any of the menu options he gets an error that says
"SY0CTL.SOA Record T33S/OGUS is missing" where the 33 is
2 characters...
Occasionally I see the error "A launcher has already
been started for this workstation" I bring up the
task manager from windows XP Pro to find any launch32
processes and am unable to see one. The only way I have
found to fix it so far is to reboot the server. Is there
a process on the server...
I am setting up MAS90 on a remote users machine. He has
complete access to the mas90 files and is able to run
anything he wants on mas90. I just put a shortcut on
his machine that points to mas90 on the machine with the
mas90 files. The issue is that his system runs painfully
slow. He is the...
I am creating an email with attachment using PHP on a website I am working on. The file is a zip file. The
version of IE is 6.0. I read the attachment into a variable
then attach the variable to the email. The error I get
is: "Cannot find server" with the following explanation:

I am not sure if this is the correct forum to post this issue so forgive me if it is not. This page that I am developing needs to run for both Mozilla and IE. Mozilla shows the gif images just fine but IE is unable to display the images. All the other images show for the page except the ones...
Chris,
Thanks for the help. I am trying to create one adjustment
number for all inventory that enters the warehouse in a day.
It sounds as if I can avoid updating the GLE_Sourcejournal
table. If you recall, You helped me with the IMH table
where I couldn't get any data into the table using SQL...
I am manually inserting data into IM1_inventorymasterfile,
IM2_inventoryItemwhsedetl, IM5_transactionDetail,
IMM_compntusagedetail for any new
inventory made at my clients warehouse. I am altering those
tables because I know they are altered after a transaction
entry is used for an...
I have been looking at my data a little more closely after
doing an update. I am using the Library Master repair menu
(1st option) to look at the data. After doing an update using all columns I found out that extra characters are being added to the end of the column. For example, After doing an...
I am using the ProvideX ODBC driver 3.22 also. One of the tables that I could do nothing with is the IMH table in the inventory management module. That table holds information before the transaction journal is run. After the journal is run, it is emptied of its data.

Jonathan,
I have been using the provideX odbc driver to do updates
the the tables in MAS90. However I did find out that in order
to do a proper update you must "update" every column in the
table otherwise the data becomes corrupted. Basically, you
use the same values for all the...
Chris,
Thanks for the information. I guess I will give the makers
of the ProvideX ODBC driver a call to find out about the
native ProvideX language or if you have time point me in
the right direction to get started with that language.
Thanks alot for all your help. I now have a very good...
Charles,
I have now run into the same problem and have got
around it. If you still have not solved it here is
my solution I used with Perl. I put double quotes
around the column name. This is Perl syntax.
$SQl = "select \"S/OCustNumber\" from FROM WO1_WorkOrderMaster";
I...
Chris,
I now understand how everything works in IMH but I am
still unable to get data into that table using SQL. I
have tried updates and inserts but each fails. I tried
to get the data into the table by trying to input it
the same way the structure looks in file analysis and
repair window...
