That depends on what type of MPGs you want to create. If you already have them in some other video format that PowerPoint accepts, you may not need to create MPGs from them. Can you be more specific about your problems?

I would save that file immediately as a new file and backup it as well - this behavior of successfully opening problem XP files in PowerPoint 2000 has happened before.
