Thanks, I now realise (after examining someone else's string) that I need another program to do dropdowns so I downloaded AllWebMenus. Thanks for that excellent advice! As far my problem - when I 'Save Optimised' my pages many of the slices I have created appear the same as another pages...- geeknophobe
