Can anyone help explain this problem? I have a CICS with a regular cordless phone connected before the system. Problem is if I answer the cordless phoine, the system phones keep ringing about 2 more times, but if the system phones are answered,m everything works like it should, they all stop...

Happy 4TH to everyone. Does anyone have a easy solution to label the buttons on a T7406E set. I was able to do the ones on an older T7406, but the buttons are so small on the T7406E, I was wondering if there was a newer version of the business labeling software. Thanks everyone. Gary

Thanks for all the help. Turns out I had the fax switch on line 2, and didn't know it had to be programmed differently to accept CID info. So I did that, and every thing works great. Thanks, Gary

Yes,line 1 works great, CID info comes up after 2nd ring, before picking up the call. Does it matter if line 2 is the first line that is picked up when you pick up the receiver to call out? Other than that, line 1 shows all the info correctly when it is called. Thanks, Gary

It does say CII, the part number is NT5B41, does anyone know if that is the correct card for a CICS. Still can't get line 2 to show CID. Maybe I will try changing out the CICS unit see if that helps. Thanks, Gary

I did check the CID before the system,I plugged a regular CID phone into a jack and the CID works fine, still won't show on the system only on line 2. Do I have the correct card for a CICS, it is a NT5B, the older one that sticks out of the CICS unit? Thanksagain, Gary
