yes, i know one of those data recovery firms myself, its called ontrack.com, not too bad they charge $100 to examine and they say anywhere between $400 and $1100 to recover data....- GCON

BLINKING QUESTION MARK STARTUP
i got in with my software restore cd, but it says harddrive unknown, asking me to initialize? i used disk aid, and i got several errors they could not repair, something saying mountdisk error and and then internal files overlapping... am i dead in the water here, or is there a way to get in and...- GCON
