    You should first uncheck "load at startup" from messenger options...or you could do this start - run - msconfig -startup and uncheck windows messenger..

    I didn´t install anything.. and yes, i was confusing Disk Cleanup with Chkdsk, but anyway...i ran both and still nothing...

    I ´ve tried the disk cleanup but no errors were found so..let me ask you one more thing...is there a program that functions as windows ´s restore system and uses its restore points so as to try and see if the program can help me??

    As regards system restore...i have tried it before bit everytime i wanted to restore when i rebooted it said "restore incomplete"...

    I used the regedit and modified all that stuff but Windows XP still doesn´t remember my folder settings...

    Mhhm...in the explorer tab it lets me remove the arrows from my shortcuts but nothing about customizations..

    Hi...I have a problem with Windows XP...The thing is that when I want to open "My Pc" in my desktop, it doesn´t open maximized, so i have to manually maximize it...How can I make it start maximized?? Thanks in advance..
