Hi, have you tried the Shell command in Access VB? There may be a more appropiate way as I am not that familiair with Access, but this does open a particular excel spreadsheet. Regards Gary
I'm not sure what the point is either but agree with previous message - also - think about Java. Not a efficient language but it is supposed to run on any platform. I have run it on an IBM AS/400 and windows platform, but not mac. Very slow though. Recomend VB and Access database. Regards Gary
