Anyone ever run into this problem. Trying to access the BCM thru Element Manager brings up an error "the required cartridge(BCM 200.2.03-0) is not currently installed. Cliking install to begin cartridge download comes back as download failed and cannot connect to device. Any ideas what this...
Is there a way to adjust the Volume on the Park and Page in the BCM on 4.0.
Adjusting the volume on the amp won't work since the page volume sounds fine it's just the Park and Page that's too loud.
Any help would be appreciated.
A 1/8 mono mini plug is what you need. Also you must have a external Aux ringer device or an Amp that provides the ring. Once you have programmed your lines or telephones that you want to ring, this should work.
I've actually played with the volume for the page on the amp, i didn't check with my buttsett cause i ran out of time. But i'm peaking the amp at a low volume with everything disconnected except the page and it just doesn't sound right.
Bcm 400, page sounds as if its on the verge of distorting. I have tested speakers for shorts, tried a different amp, and also changed the 1/8 mini plug going from the Bcm page out to the amp, no change. The page isnt clear like i am used to hearing on other Bcm's. The music in the store sounds...
I guess I'm just trying to figure out how 2 cables with different lengths can have the same ticks. This is the first time this has happened, and i don't understand why.
Does anyone know what the "ticks" represent on cable delay measurement? I have 2 base stations on a DMC 320 that are both reading 4 ticks yet the base stations are nowhere near each other. On other installs i have gotten 4 ticks on the 1st base station and 8 on the 2nd. I have done 3 installs...

I was trying to set up foward no answer on a BCM 4.0 thru Element Manager and could not find were to set that up. On the extesions Capabilities i did not see it. I had to go thru the Telset programming to set it up which was under Capabilities. It's not an IP phone so i'm not sure what i did...
Did the reapeaters help at all?
I have a similar problem with a supermarket warehouse and may have to go the reapeater route, unless adding another base station (which i have) would be better. Just getting into the Digital Mobility, so i'm still trying to get a handel on it.
Any idea why they would not support it? I imagine they put it in for a reason, seems if that was the case why put it in at all. Also i've done it mostly on 4.0.
