This happens from time to time and I'm at my wits end. I have a Lacie NAS drive. Users can not access the drive using it's UNC only it's IP address. Sometimes if I restart the drive everything is OK, other times not. See attached graphic. Any thoughts?
Not looking for a VPN router, I'm looking for an analog (POTS) dial-in router. I don't think any of the Linksys RV units have an analog phone line port and offer dial-in support.
I'm looking for a cheaper equivalent to the Netopia R2000 analog dial-in router. Basically, I have a piece of equipment at a customers site that I need to access for remote troubleshooting. The Netopia allows me to dial-in to it, assigns me an IP address that's on the subnet of the machine, and...
Can your user connect by using the UNC to the share instead of the drive letter? (ie. \\Server\share)
You might try this:

Good luck.
I'm pretty sure Netgear appliances will work here. Prices ranging from $180 to $400.

Good luck.

Try this... either computer check netBIOS status by typing:
nbtstat -a XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX
Substitute "XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX" with the IP address of the local and remote computer. Make sure you get a response both ways. Also make sure the...

Did you resolve this? If not, read on...
Are you saying that your have two networks connected via VPN (IPSEC?) that have the same network subnet address? (ie. network 10.0.0.X/255.255.255.0 connects to network 10.0.0.X/255.255.255.0) Let me know if I've read your post correctly.
Teri,
Short version: You'll have to map a network printer back to the home machine's shared local printer.
Long version: When a user connects to the VPN from home they are basically on the work network. The home user would first have to "Share" their local printer with the network. The user...
Anyone know how, or can point me in the right direction, for customizing Outlooks interface. I'd like to get the items from my "Calendar" and "Inbox" into one window or page. Kinda like "Outlook Today" but with actual inbox messages not just a link telling me how many messages I have.
Thanks much!
Sorry for the cryptic subject line, but here's what I'm looking for...
I'd like to populate a "total_cost" field within a table called "Orders" by summing the product of the "Qty" field of a table called "Order_Line_Detail" with the "cost" field of a table called "Products". Here's a summary of...
