No the same problem persists, I am tempted to unistall IE7 but there have been a number of security patches applied since the install and I'm not sure how anything else would be affected

I finally upgraded my last computer to IE7, (normaly use Firefox)and now when I access my work email via OWA I get the follwoing error:
Automation server can't create object
I verified OWA is working correctly, used Firefox and IE7 on my laptop, it all worled as it should.

I agree with lwcomputing, I performed a similar upgrade a couple of years ago and did a fresh install after trying an upgrade from ME. Too many nagging issues with the upgrade that did not appear after the fresh install.

Belarc advisor is a similar tool that is very helpful, give info on all aspects of your machine. It's free for personal use and can be licensed for commercial use

I believe the turbo tax default extention is .tax. If you happened to save the file as a pdf which TT allows, check for any pdf files you may have as well

I have had good luck with the free version of zone alarm. there is a learning curve involved for both the user and the software. Once you get used to using it, it works very well.
