    Is there anyway to have PowerPoint update links automatically? Not the so-called automatic option you get where you still have to click update links. I want to be able to run a pps file and have the links updated without user interaction. TIA Steve

    Thanks, I've never done anything like that b4. I created a text box with "days until" I created the label, inserted the code, but keep getting a run-time error 424 object required. I must be missing something.

    easy format cells as date,use the defalut then in in the "days until" column use: =A2-B2 etc. where A2 is the due date and B2 is todays date. Steve
