I have a seagate scsi tape drive. 4mm dds. I can do a scsi-probe-all form the ok prompt and it sees the tape device. I can't see it from the OS. I have tried installing LGTO scsi drivers and no luck. Any suugestions or help would be appreciated.

We have the networker server running on netware 5.1. The clients have been working fine so far. The server just works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. I will check out 4.21 though. Thanks. Tom

I am doing an eval on legato networker 4.2 for netware. I have a 5.1 server. Under logs, in the history.log file for each client, it shows the date as sometime in 1969. Is there soemwhere I can set this? Any help would be appreciated. Tom

Thanks for the reply. Actually, to get the arcserve agent to work on Netware 6 I had to start the agent in debug mode. It worked fine then. The CA support didn't have too much help for Netware 6. T

Does anyone know how to configure the netware 6 arcserve client. I installed the client and got it to load, but every time I try and back it up to the server it fails with very little info. Between the two I would have to say windows 2000. I have both on my network and accessing the netware is a pain.

There is a program called system commander, just search for it on ZDNET, that will show you everything that your system is doing on boot up. Might give you a better idea about whats going on. TD

Try vnc. It's a little slow, but it's free. Search for vnc on a search engine to find it.

If you can reinstall without reformatting all the data will still be there.
