Multiple hard drive failures
I had a hard drive fail in a computer at work last week. I replaced it with a brand new hard drive and 6 days later the same thing happened. It completely failed and is not recognised in the BIOS. Is it possible that something else in the computer is making it fail? Could a virus cause such...- freya

I have had a similar problem with windows 2000. None of the symptons pointed to the format of the hard drive but I re-formatted the hard drive as FAT32 several times anyway. I then formatted it as NTFS and windows installed without a problem. It's been up and running successfully since. I'm...- freya
