I would disagree with you Marc. Giving access to the user to view other mailboxes could be tedious.
If the user arranges the archive mailbox correctly, the user could see mail (all mail) in any way they desire.
We use the same set up and granting access to other mailboxes can create "read"...

I have Spamscreen with Exchange 2003 IMF - can anyone suggest more to prevent spam. I feel like I have too much Spam coming through for the tools I am using. I guess I haven't tweaked what I have well.

What is installed so far? Are 5.5 and 2003 co-existing?
Do you really need Terminal Services or do you just want to connect to the server to administrate it?

The outgoing is occuring from spammers trying to send mail on your server. Bots looking for 5.5 and attempting to exploit. If you want to block certain styles and origination location you will need third party software. GFI Mail Essentials is a pretty good product for use with 5.5.
