Do you have your internal DNS set in the client properties? You should. It will probably solve this problem.

NT Backup - save to tape. We use Microsoft's system tool NT Backup then save to tape using Arcserve. We feel safer using the native backup system.

Just install DHCP - don't activate it. And just run WINS on the server - no problems. Point users to the fastest and use the other as the backup.
