I will try updating the firmware. I did some more research and discovered that for macs running OS 9.1, which is the majority of our office, that updating to Apple Ethernet driver to 2.4.3 solves this issue with a lot of people. We have a 10 mac LAN. Server (b/w G3) runnig Server OS 8.6, Other macs are imacs, emacs, G4's running 9.1 - 10.2.8. I work in a small office using 10 macs. Our server is a G3 running 8.6. Everyone else: 9.1 - 10.2.8. We recently installed a Linksys router.
