print page numbers in Word 2000
Thanks for your reply. I have checked (using Alt+F9) to reveal the codes and if definitely showed { page } of {numpages }. However, I did insert the codes using the buttons on the Header and Footer toolbar, not AutoText or the Insert Field command.- frappe

print page numbers in Word 2000
Word 2000 prints the page numbers of a 3-page document as follows: Page 1 of 1, Page 2 of 2 and Page 3 of 3. The Print Preview shows the result correctly, eg Page 1 of 3, etc. I have deleted the codes, re-entered them, pressed F9 on the field codes to update them, tried it at home and at work...- frappe
