Found the answer...... Use Layers effectively in InDesign and here is where they really come in handy. Select your Master Page in the Pages panel and then open the Layers panel. Make a new Layer on top of the layer (or layers) that everything else is on. Rename the layer "Master Page Items."...

GOT IT !!!! GOT IT!!!!!! Open up grayscale image. Go to Image > Mode > Convert to Profile Destination Space > Custom CMYK Black Generation > Maximum This will change doc mode to CMYK and put into black channel only. Thanks for your help!!!!!

Do not use Quark attributes for fonts. Go into the font palete and replace all your Helvetica (bold) for a real Helvetica Bold font. Then you should be fine.
