Getting 474 1018 and 705 errors in event viewer in the directory services tab.
I have followed the instructions to use NTDSUTIL to repair and the recovery came up as good, however still getting the same errors.

Yes thanks, defrag is the sort of thing I was talking about, is there any utility that can be run on a server to sort out the registry or is that a bad thing to do? Our servers are probably coming to the end of their lives and we want to keep them going for a bit longer
