    Try cut and paste of this extension to an unused extension. Then delete everything on the troubled extension and merge. Then cut and paste the button layout back to the original extension and merge and see what happens.

    Do you have a license for Avaya endpoints, and does your IPO have VCM channels? The 9608 and IP500 have to be on the same LAN.

    Corruption of data, raises any noise level along with the data. You could probably test it in a lab situation. Obviously not supported.
