What version of CR are you using?
I am confident that the problem is that the pageserver.EXE is not running on the web server that is attempting to serve up the report.

sorry I think that API call is encapsulated with the ActiveX and can not be altered.

Use a formula to evaluate the value, and you can formate the field in any way you would like.
