PIX version 6.2 --> Idle connections die

I tried all the values but after 5 minutes, it still disconnects. I think it might be something else. It's definitely not the router, so has something to do with both remote desktop connection and a database connection on 1521. Doesnt make sense....

PIX version 6.2 --> Idle connections die

If I have an idle connection from the outside to the dmz on my pix, if i leave it idle for approximately 10 minutes, the connection freezes and I have to establish a new connection. I thought something like this would fix it, but this is not a valid command access-list acl_out permit tcp any...

sfhover for menus. Initially, there is a delay

I am using the below code for drop down menus. It works perfectly The only problem I have is when someone comes to our page initially or they refresh the page, it takes a few seconds..sometimes 2 seconds..sometimes 10 seconds for the mouseover to work. Does anyone know where that setting is...

CVPN-3005 --> All works fine except it only allows 1 user to connect

Just wanted to say thank you very much. I made the following change on my concentrator and it fixed my problem. IPSec over NAT-T Check to enable IPSec over NAT-T, which detects the need for UDP encapsulation in NAT/PAT environments, using UDP port 4500. And you thought I needed a cisco guy...

CVPN-3005 --> All works fine except it only allows 1 user to connect

OK. I understand. I have gotten this far, so I think I can get the rest figured out. Can you just tell me this though. Without LAN-to-LAN, there is NO WAY to have more than 1 user connected from the same remote connection (same public ip)? Thanks so much.

CVPN-3005 --> All works fine except it only allows 1 user to connect

No.The users are connecting from a linksys router, not a cisco router. I then changed the group in the concentrator from REMOTE ACCESS to LAN-To-LAN. I see the group connecting, but now no users can connect. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I cannot find any information on this anywhere.

CVPN-3005 --> All works fine except it only allows 1 user to connect

Some more details. If I login one person from location 1 and one person from location 2, both users stay connected. So its becuase there are multiple users coming from the same IP. I setup a lan-to-lan using the public ip, but it basically did the same thing. So im not sure that it the root...

CVPN-3005 --> All works fine except it only allows 1 user to connect

The users are in location a. The vpn concentrator is in location b. Location a is an office. There are 10 people in that office that use a cable internet connection. THey have one router. They all gain access to the internet via the same ip which is the ip of the router. I think thats pretty...

CVPN-3005 --> All works fine except it only allows 1 user to connect

Yes I am running udp encapsulation of ESP. Very wierd. Not sure why someone would want a config to only allow 1 user.

CVPN-3005 --> All works fine except it only allows 1 user to connect

Different username/password. The users are connecting from the outside from the same location. So they both come in with the same public ip (internet router), but i cannot see that mattering....

CVPN-3005 --> All works fine except it only allows 1 user to connect

I am having an issue. My group pool is 192.168.2.10-192.168.2.100. It only allows one user to connect. The first user grabs 192.168.2.10. If someone else tries to login, they grab 192.168.2.10 and it kicks off the user who was logged on first. It happens before the 2nd user even enters the...

Encryption Protocols: DES, 3DES, AES for VPN

Ok Im learning about the different methods to connect via VPN. This is my outcome. (from what I have gathered off the net) 1) DES is old and cracked 2) 3DES is much better than DES, but resource hog 3) AES can perform 300% better than 3DES 4) L2TP...well not sure if this fits in here. Just...

Cisco Concentrator or Cisco PIX regarding VPN and document types

I have a question that I think can be configured. I dont know how, but I'd like to know if this is possible. We have a network where users VPN in from the outside to a 3005 concentrator. All traffic is inside the tunnel, which is good. My question is, if the users are uploading files to the...
