Well I solved my problem. Thanks for all the ideas and help. I solved it by going to Best Buy and purchasing a new printer. I got an HP 5500 and now no lag. thanks again.- florabee

yes the spooler was enabled. start printing after first page is spooled was marked. changed it to start printing after last page is spooled. not sure if it will make much difference. thanks for responding.- florabee

spooler problems with hp 610cl
When my Hp 610cl prints it causes my computer to lag, and if I have several print jobs queued I might as well go somewhere else and not even use the computer. Is there anyway to fix this?- florabee
