    Woo Hoo! The modem arrived.netopia cayman 3300 series Installed. No connect. Phoned person, at meeting, given a tech support number. "Ah yes. A hung connection... Try it now" Bingo back on line! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Thanks to everyone.

    SMC say that the SMC7407BRA is a PPPoE problem with my ISP. The technicians in Taiwan are working on new firmware. No dates. The Eircom modem still hasn't arrived, Monday 5:00 pm.

    Yeah, begining to believe it is something with ISP. They have confirmed that I am using correct Username, password, VPI/VCI, encapsulation. Waiting over two weeks, yes two weeks, for ole Combi 1 to arrive. I met Neil Armstrong last Monday. Thirty four years ago it took him less time than that...
