Exceed 8.x - passive works, query doesn't - why??
Passive will just envoke your command line eg /bin/xterm XDMCP broadcast will do a blast on your subnet for systems running the XDM protocol. Query will hit your specific Unix system. solaris login takes forever
Normally this is cause by not having your system setup in Xconfig in Single Window Mode. Ensure this is set for all systems that you wish to have a full screen XDM Solaris desktop. Video card driver may also cause issues with Exceed and the desktop. Make sure you have the latest and greatest...- fensterman
