Matty269,
Update:
I was hoping this issue was resolved since all went smooth for 10 days straight, but the system lost connection again this morning. After looking through log categories the error problem happens at the exact same time as an error detecting the FIM card. This is leading me to...
Matty269,
I haven't noticed but will look for any Daemon entries, you might be on to something with the firewall scanning port 443. I monitored the controller on site this morning to see what it did at 7:25 AM that's when it typically contacts AMC and subsequently loses the connection to the...
Matty269,
How did you resolve this? I have a 3300 MXeIII and I am having the exact same issue with a per node, I replaced the power supply board thinking it was failing but that wasn't it. I'm now considering a FIM card but that seems unlikely since it happens right after AMC snyc. The IT...
jpruder,
You're right it shouldn't be related but for some reason it appeared to make it more likely to properly boot and connect to the controller to grab an address. After my post I noticed if I left the phone disconnected for about 5 minutes or so it would not boot up and connect...

FYI:
I know I am adding a thread to old post but for what it's worth, I recently had this problem myself and was able to resolve it without replacing the phone by hard coding some of the network boot parameters into my 5330e phone by holding the # key down while powering up...
I administer several Mitel ICP systems and do new phone installs on all of them. I have run into a problem on our bigger phone system if I program a Mitel 5330 IP phone it will boot up immediately no hardcoding of any setting needed VLAN discovery all perfect. On the same phone system if I...
Good logic, I can't imagine Mitel shipping controllers that have been painstakingly loaded one at a time. There is quite a bit of information about Linux cloning procedures although I did clone Linux (Fedora) with a free version of Easeus Todo a few years back using identical hard disks. From...
I decided not to try it with this particular system it is a working customer's system, especially with it being a Monday for exactly the same reason you gave above. I am going to try it with a bench system first, I have this Easeus Todo commercial backup program which I have successfully cloned...
This was newly reloaded Mitel 3300 on a old disk drive, witch has had the database restored everything is working fine at the moment but I don't know if the drive can be trusted. To avoid a lengthy reload all over again I had hoped I could simply do a disk to disk clone.
I have an older Mitel 3300 controller running level 6.x with a questionable 40 Gig IDE drive in it. Has anyone been successful at cloning a fully configured Mitel hard drive to a new drive and then getting it to boot?
