    Although you didn't state it you must be talking about "Advantage". In this case (if you don't get a reply in Tek-Tips) you should call tech support or go to www.accpac.com. I've seen this problem posted there before but I work with ACCPAC "Plus" and can't help you out...

    You don't have to remove Norton, you just have to stop it from looking at ACCPAC Plus files. There's a control centre command for doing that somewhere. Just flag the ACCPAC Plus program directories \??ASP, the import/export & multicurrency stuff \ASP\*.*, and finally whatever your data...
