Greetings Fellow Geeks,
One of our end users forgot his password for his e-mail encryption. I revoked the old certificate and then re-issued a new one. Kind of like setting it up all over again. The problem is when he goes to "tools/options/security/get digital ID" and puts in the new token...
Greetings,
We use NEMX Spam Filter (Which I hate with a passion. Their Customer Service is horrible) and it catches about 90% as well as GFI. Lander is right. SPAM will always be here and if you devote too much time for a 100% solution, you will be just spinning your wheels. I know, I have...
Greetings and Salutations,
A couple of end users have complained that they get e-mail notifications and when they maximize their Outlook, there is nothing there. I did check to see if they had a rule setup and they didn't.
Any ideas or has anyone else had this problem?

Hey Rye8261,
Great info. But I do have one question. I went to the first link you posted and created a vbs logon script and it works great, but what can you type in to go to a specific user folder?
We have a folder on a file server called "userdata". Inside that are folders for each end...
Wouldn't turning off NDR's be a bad thing for legitimate NDR's? NDR's help me pinpoint problems such as bad addresses, relaying, message queue is full, ect. Just a thought.

Greetings,
Someone sent an e-mail to me and it was returned with, "Returned mail: Cannot send message within 1 hour" in the subject line. Any ideas? (Exchange 2k running on server 2k and all the latest patches)

Easy question.......Have Exchange 2000 running on Server 2000. To reboot the server, anything special I have to do? I heard someone talk about dismounting the stores or something. If I am to do that, how is it done?
Or when I reboot, does server automatically take care of this?

Yup, I just tested that on a test router we have. "no ip name-server x.x.x.x" takes out the old ones.

When I do a sh run, in the configuration that pops up, I see our 2 public DNS IP addresses. I know to change the IP address of the router, but how do you change these IP's?
ip subnet-zero
no ip finger
ip name-server 64.160.192.70

If I re-install Service Pack for exchange 2k, do I have to re-install the Service Pack for Server 2k?

Hmmmmm I run Exchange 2k with Norton for Exchange 2.5 with no problems. And, there is a registry hack to block what attachments you specify. I did a search and found 72 popular executables and blocked them all. Norton notifies me via e-mail when it has quarantined an attachment so I can monitor...
