I am not aure if this is a simple or difficuly question, but here goes.
I have two tables. Table A has 16 columns, and table B has 3. I then want to query on different columns on Table A depending on the column numbers stored in table B.
So looking at the attached document, you can see that...
I have a form and a subform, when I add record in the subform it always adds them to the bottom on the list. Is it possible to reverse the order, so that the new record is entered at the top of the subform.
The problem has moved on slightly, but the original fault is still there. My subform is as data sheet and for some reason all the events I choose to use are all before the footer fields are updated??
I am not sure if this is easy or difficult. Anyway here goes.
I have a form with a subform. Within the subform I have a footer which totals up a quantity field. This total is not visible since the sub form is a datasheet. However, on the main form I have a text box which references the total...
Initially your conditional formatting looked the best option, however, as I said the text box is based on the sum of the quantity, but I wanted the text box to be red if it was greater that the value in another text box.
Thinking about you change event, I cannot get this to fire. I am not sure...
I am not sure if this is simple or difficult. I have a subform with a quantity column. When I add/change this value, it refects using a total field on the main form. I would like the field to change colour when it becomes negative.
Any ideas
Although it is some time ago since you posted this, have you manged to solve it. If so can you give me some clues since I want to do the same thing.
Thanks in advance
