If you have a backup you can check the CTG-file with a text editor. Otherwise check for tables called DS_components or DS_Components_line in the database. Jack

Are you connecting to a AS/400 via ClientAccess software ?? I have experienced the same problems when I connected Impromptu to a AS/400 box via ClientAccess. The solution was to set the Sorting parameter in the ODBC settings from HEX to Language specific with US English as the language. Jack
