There was a problem with SP1, installing the new version of the MS05-019 patch (version 2.0) should correct it.

It should still be in the bios on the older ones but sometimes is hidden.
1. Reboot the server
2. Press F10 to access the System Configuration Utility
3. Press any key to continue
4. Press <CTRL> A from the Main Menu
5. Press Enter
6. Choose "System Configuration"
7. Choose "Configure...

Have you gone into Symantec System center and choos server tuning options and make sure the check box for allow this server to manage 9.x and earlier clients is enabled. Also 10.0.1 fixed some problems i had why the sav service stopping.
I would agree. It seems to do a good job of spyware detection. However some of the removal still needs to be done manually. It also does a good job with realtime spyware detection.
Just one thing I have noticed, it seems installing 10.0.1.1000 changes back to the old scan engine version that was used with 9.0. Has anyone else noticed this ?
