I'm running Win98SE and I find this file (bgcshik.exe)in my start-up file listing in system configuration. When I uncheck it and restart it's back. I have deleted the file everywhere I can find it including the registry files. I've done searches on the internet and can't find any record of this...
I have completely uninstalled the usb lines in device manager three times. I have tried to install the drivers three times. When I do it turns the usb lines to yellow asteriks. When I reboot it turns the lines to red. I do have admin rights.

I have a win98SE machine 1.2ghz duron with 192 meg ram. I have a 8x4x32 Phillips CDRW. When I try to copy a cd I keep getting buffer underun errors and screw up another cd. What's up? How can I stop this from happening?
When you upgrade to a new motherboard, do you have to start from scratch with a clean hard drive? I am upgrading to a new motherboard (450mhz to 1.2ghz) and I have a 13 gig hd. Do I have to wipe the hd clean with the motherboard change? Or will the hd with all the info work with the new MB?
