detect the physical layer port type? Please help...
Hi All, I need to know whether an Ethernet port type is 10BaseT, 10-100BaseT, 100BaseT, 1000BaseT... 10GBase-SR, 10GBase-SW, or 10GBase-EW, etc. ? Someone directs me to 'ethtool' but what I can tell over there is just the max speed it supports, and whether it's twisted pair or fibre...- emeraldth
