    If you are having low readings like that, your system might boot but will cause it to do strange things. I think that by replacing it you will solve your problems.

    I had something like that happen to me as well. It ended being my power supply. After replacing it the problem went away.

    Locate CD Rom

    Did it work before? What make of Toshiba? This is what I would try first. Go in to safe mode and see if you have multiple CD ROMS installed. This you will only see if your in safe mode. If so unistall them all and then let the system pick them up again.

    You can go to the BIOS and change the Hault On to "All but Keyboard" or "No Errors". Hope that helps. Element
