DCFW to external recalls to attendant

It is possible but unlikely. And in that case I would rather the caller just receive busy or ring-no-answer. In any event we would rather these calls not route back to the attendant. Essentially we just want the calls handed off to the external system and let that system deal with any issues...

DCFW to external recalls to attendant

Hi Everyone, We have a phantom DN that is set to DCFW to an external number. Most of the time this seems to work fine but sometimes forwarded calls will route to the attendant instead. I'm not sure if it's a recall or going directly to the attendant. Can anyone offer a suggestion? TN is...

    Trace a phantom TN

Hi all, Should I be able to do an enhanced trace on a Phantom TN? I want to see what happens to an incoming call that is DCFW'd on the TN but I never see any output. Thanks, Ed

M3904 will not hunt on transferred call

The Active Voice is connected via digital ports. I think we found a fix. Changing the option for XFER in CPDN from T to FNA seemed to fix the problem. I'm not sure if this will have any other negative effects so we'll just monitor for awhile and see how it goes. Thanks everyone for the feedback.

M3904 will not hunt on transferred call

Now I feel a little stupid. It turns out that HUNTing is not happening properly on any phone when a call is transferred to a busy extension. The calls are being sent to the VM system (Active Voice Repartee) but the VM doesn't seem to recognize the extension and treats it as though there was no...

M3904 will not hunt on transferred call

We've tested it several times and always get the same result. If the destination TN is not busy it forwards. If it is busy it goes to the attendant.

M3904 will not hunt on transferred call

EFD and EHT were added as a stab in the dark to see if it made a difference. They didn't. I've removed them and changed to CFTD but the results are the same. Ed

M3904 will not hunt on transferred call

I have two M3904 sets that are programmed to forward and hunt to voice mail (7000). When calls are dialed to these extensions and they are busy they hunt just as expected. When calls are transferred to these extensions, and they are busy, they calls are not directed to voice mail and dump to...

Can I do this kind of forwarding?

That just may be the idea I was looking for. Thanks, Ed

Can I do this kind of forwarding?

You could make lhk 0 on the set. A mcr will busy only if the calls are coming in at the same time. The first call has to be answered first for the second call to ring" I think this would take care of the HUNT and FNA issue but will calls to 8699 forward when the set is forwarded (CFW)? Ed

Can I do this kind of forwarding?

I have a set (2616) on an Option 61c with keys set up like this: key 0 scr 2972 key 1 mcr 8699 key 2 mcr 8699 I want key 0, and only key 0, to HUNT and FNA to another extension (outside VM). When the employees leave the office they need to be able to forward all calls to that set to the...

    Default off-hook line

Thanks for the reply John. You're correct. As a matter of fact these phones were installed recently as a replacement for a key system. Actually lpk wouldn't really matter except that I'm trying to accomodate a receptionist that wants private voice mail, without having the two 'key' lines...

    Default off-hook line

Thanks for the quick response. I think that's the way I have this phone set up but when the user goes off-hook it still select the DN on key 0. Below is the phone: DES X TN 024 0 02 03 TYPE 2616 CDEN 8D CUST 0 AOM 0 FDN 7000 TGAR 1 LDN NO NCOS 3 SGRP 0 RNPG 11 SCI 0 SSU LNRS 16 XLST...

I should add that I'm talking about a Option 61c system with 2616 phones. Ed
