Hi, you can only look at the actlog while TSM is running. Then: "query actlog" Enter a "help query actlog" to see syntax. Perhaps you have to configure the actlogretention to see entries older than 1 hour... Or if it is a Windows system you can use the TSM MMC plugin. The errors you mentioned...

Hi, I know that that maximum hardware compression of LTO2 tapes is 2:1 which means 200/400GB. Is it possible that on a single LTO2 tapem there is more data stored than 400GB. Someone told me he has seen a LTO2 tape taht had about 700GB of data. Regards /egr
