the dvsoft is installed when u install some types of video editing software, you have to delete the Dvsoft.dll to bring it bact to the ms DV youll find it in your control panel/sound & multimedia/hardware/video codecs

try using flicker removal its helped me in the past right click mouse on title/video options/field options/flicker removal

you can unlink you Video from your audio by right mouse clicking on your video & selecting unlink audio & Video if you only want to affect your Video with cuts and new scenes but want to keep the overall length sync to the audios length, move your Video after unlinking to Video 2 the audio...
