Thanks!
So how do I do it?
When you specify an additional mailbox, it only allows you to add it from the same Exchange Server!
I tried to add a new profile, but it would only allow me one Exchange Server profile.
Any ideas?
We had exactly the same problem with Quantum Snap servers. Sometimes, if you make a change to the snap server, such as adding a new share, machines & users are then unable to connect & receive an access denied message. I find the problem has always been solved by rebooting the machine from...
Why is it that sometimes when you try to delete or move a file that you KNOW no-one else is using (say for example it is on a standalone machine, or after hours when everyone has gone home) you cannot because you get a sharing violation error message? The other day we were trying to copy a...
Thanks DKelsey! I have just actually joined the IT department, so it's my problem really. If we recreate the installation point, won't we still have the problem that the data1.msi file doesn't actually exist on our CD? Presumably we would just copy the CD contents to a network share, but that...
Thanks for the links - unfortunately, the solutions involve finding the data1.msi file, which, incredible though it may sound, DOES NOT EXIST ON MY OFFICE 2000 CD. I have data1out.msi for Outlook, data1wrd.msi etc etc, but no actual data1.msi file. The solutions I have seen all assume that you...
Thanks for the help - I asked the IT manager & he said that Office may have been installed over the network. The installation files are no longer on the network. Is there any alternative to the dreaded fdisk?
I clicked on the Outlook icon & it said "Preparing to install". Then it prompted me for the Office 2000 CD. I put it in & it wants this data1.msi file, which doesn't exist on the CD. I have had this problem before & I got round it by by reinstalling - however, this time, when I go to...
Thanks Matt,
Do you know how to change the authentication settings? I thought maybe it wasn't possible to integrate NT workstation with W2K users.
Edward
Thanks for all the help, guys...I think I have got to the bottom of it. The user in question always dials in. The RAS server is an NT workstation. For some reason (which I don't understand) the user is authenticating through an old NT account from before we upgraded to W2K. Therefore...
Thanks for the suggestions, Donnie. I looked at the advanced permissions like you said - all users, including the problem one, have full control. I then looked at the advanced permissions on the users folder, which is the top one (besides the drive itself), and everyone has full control of...
We have been running Veritas 7.3 on an NT server for ages & it worked fine. Then suddenly we started getting "Loading Media" as the job status instead of "Successful". When I put a new tape in the job status changed back to "Running", and the job finished normally...
Thanks Matt - there doesn't seem to be anywhere in the folder structure where there could be any deny. The drive the folder is in is shared with everyone having full control. The folder is in the users directory which is shared with everyone having full control. The next layer down is the...
I have created a special folder with sensitive information that only certain users are allowed access to. It is not shared, and in the security I have just individually listed every user who needs access. Everyone can access the folder except one user who is in the list can't. Access is always...
