You need a before rule at your parent level of flow before the first I/O rule that reads the TPID. You need to map the other ISA/GS values from the flat file to the appropriate variables in ECMap. I don't have a manual with me but I think Appendix C of the ECMap reference manual has more details.
Each version of the map needs a different map name. Each map will have different edits. All compliance maps are inbound maps even though the final direction map be inbound and outbound. Set ECGateway up to call each compliance map separately.
I have used EDISIM, EDIFECS and EDIFIX. Before you make a decision about EDISIM take a serious look at EDIFIX (www.gefeg.com). I was very unhappy with EDIFECS product quality.
