Thank you for this excellent tip. Solved the problem. By the way, you do not have to change the directory to C:\my documents. You do have to have a valid directory name. WP7 assumes the default name will be C:\my files. If you have a directory by that name, it should work too. You can use...- dukewellington

Sidekick 2.0 Corrupted *.sdb file
Went to CMD (Dos prompt) and the dir listing also shows zero bytes. I had used the file a few days ago, saved and closed, all without incident. I had hoped there was a "repair file" program or macro. Sounds like there is not. I read Doug Silver's FAQ. Can try Norton (I am rusty with it)...- dukewellington

Sidekick 2.0 Corrupted *.sdb file
Cardfile with lots of my contacts won't open. It shows zero bytes. I read the FAQ on restoring corrupted SK2.0 sdb files, but unlike that author, I am not getting the left hand index pane. Any ideas how to "repair" the file?- dukewellington
