XP bare minimum
so far I turned off system restore, decreased pagefile to 256 meg and turned off hibernation. My used space is 2.2 gig Now Im curious just how far I can go with this!- Dugger69

XP bare minimum
I am setting up a laptop that I plan on ONLY running Delorme Street Atlas GPS software and Windows Media Player for DVDs and MP3s. I want to free up as much space on the HDD as I can so what elements of Windows XP can I uninstall to help clear up the needed space. thanks in advance!- Dugger69

The reason I ask is because I am a video editor and I need all the hard drive space I can get. Over time I have worn out my two internal DVD/CDROM drives and I currently use an external DVD burner.
