2 NICs with same IP address?
You'll need to configure the switch for this ideally (so i'm led to think). Server Name Definition
If you have WINS and DNS then the WINS name can be looked up on the DNS table. It's down to configuration therein. (enable WINS lookup via DNS).- drvanhelsing
