It's strange, the name gets passed through the link without error, it's just the ring-tone, or is that to be expected if the problem is the numbering plan/number type?
Anyone out there got a working Call-Manager connected via QSIG to another system, with working ring tones?
Our Call Manager (4.2) is connected via QSIG to a Siemens Hicom. Both have external PRI's to PSTN.
The following is noticed:
Internal Caller - Siemens to Cisco - External Ringtone
External Caller - Siemens to Cisco - External Ringtone
Internal Caller - Cisco to Siemens - Internal Ringtone...
Is there any way I can reset an Option 11C to default configuration, I don't have a blank 11C Database.rec file, and wondered if there was some other way to clean a system totally?
It's a spare 11C, so there's no impact to wiping it totally, obviously I don't want to "brick" the system, but a...
Hi All
Had this a while ago, but can't remember how exactly it's done (SFA?)
Basically, if User A calls User B, who's CFNA transfers to User C, User A get's User B's Voicemail.
How to I get the Meridian to give user C's voicemail.
Basically callers coming into the switchboard 2250 are being...
We use 5 digit extensions in the building due to large numbers of extensions.
Strangely enough, we found that calling over the MCDN produced inconsistent results, and only by enabling 1 channel (any channel) on both Primary and Backup D-Channels on the MCDN caused the complaints to immediately...
Any ideas on what would cause this?

You'll probably need a MCS Server to fully enable it, however I'm sure it's possible to write your own into Outlook if you've got the time.
On the phone side, you'll need AST's & IAPG enabled.
Thanks, that did the trick!
If I just had a SPN of 00 it didn't work for some reason however as soon as I created 10 new SPNS (000 to 009) using the same RLI it worked without a problem.
But is there any technical difference to it?
We're dialling 0 (Outside line) + 00 + Country Code + Number
However if I use the Route access code directly I can connect perfectly, so it's not the number I'm dialing, it's the Digital Manipulation or the AC1 which is causing the problem?
Thanks
We're in Sunny South Africa. :) What difference will this make to the dialing?
Found that if I change my DMI CTYP to be INTL I get through to international exchange, even though my DCH trace still shows I'm only dialling out "00"
Could this be some patching issue?
Hi Again
I'm trying to remove NAS (Network Attendant Service) from 2 PABX's which were once connected using NAS.
All attendants are now on Node 1, with Node 2 in Night Service permanently forwarding to Node 1.
However on Node 1 I still constantly get BUG5005 on the terminal, even though I've...
