Hello Apepp
Let us suppose you want a paragraph with a 24pt MetaPlusNormal font; with line spacing 0f 20pt and a dropped cap. In Ventura you click on the Tag File dialog box enter the attributes and then save it. Any time you want to insert the tag you enable the tag file, click on the text and...
Hello Andrew
Well after a couple of weeks and about 50 pages, I have admit that InDesign is quite brilliant, especially the lining up of objects and frames. However, there is one feature that might be there but I can't find it and that is the Ventura tag file feature. Does InDesign have such a...
Hello Andrew
At last I have my default font. I might disagree with you a tad on the similarity of InDesign with Ventura. I could change the Body Text tag any time at any place and it would become the default font. Still no matter, thanks to you I have a major problem sorted out. If it were...
The problem is, I did create my default font to arial before I began this new book. I was following the instructions in Steve Johnson's book on InDesign 5.5. Unfortunately every time I create a new test frame the program defaults to Minion Pro. I have the character diaolg box loaded on the...
Hello Andrew
It was very kind of you to take the trouble to reply to my problem.
I have just opened InDesign with no files loaded. I have a grey screen. Selected Arial 11pt from the Character dialog box. Then I loaded the book that I have just started to write (on IT actually) went to a fresh...
Hello Andrew
Eventually I have solved the arrowhead problem (oh I long for Ventura). There must be devotees of InDesign out there but they don't know what they are missing. Now I have a problem with setting a default font so that when I create a text box I don't have to reset the damn thing...
After 20 years with Ventura I now have to migrate to Indesign (5.5). I need to dimension lines with arrowheads. It seems an impossible task with Indesign - or is it. With Ventura it was a delight, with InDesign its a bloody nightmare.
Hello RuralGuy
Tried a trial version of Snagit it and it worked. I was able to capture the illusive Office Button. Hijaak is still my program of choice but I will buy Snagit and keep it for that special capture. Please thank Bob for me.

Hello RoyVidar
Well I've just finished a book for Macmillan Education with a target audience of east, west and central Africa. I have nearly 500 screenshots in that book. I have successfully captured all multiple-layer drop-down boxes with Hijaak and use it because it provides a real...
Hello RuralGuy
My reason for asking for this is that I am writing a textbook on Access 2007 for UK GCSE examinations. I use Hijaak to capture all my screenshots and cannot capture the screenshot that you have used, namely, the Access Options screen. Every time I get ready to capture, it...
Hello All
Is the Startup procedure still available in Access 2007? Although it recognises my previous startup procedures from Access 2003, I am unable to modify this procedure, even after saving under the new file format.
Does the Startup procedure still exist in Access 2007?

Terence
Hello All
Just beginning my change-over from Access 2003 to 2007 and actually wondering why I am doing this.
Does anybody know how to clear the "Getting Started With Microsoft Access" startup page as well as all the templates that are listed. It must be possible to start with a clean interface...
Hello fneily
Many thanks for your help. I can't believe how simple it all was. I have now converted all my command buttons to labels. My reason for doing this is simple. You cannot change the colour of command buttons.
My learning curve is definitely going uphill.
Sincere regards
Terence
Hello fneily
You will forgive my ignorance, but I can't find DoMenuItem. I'm using Access 2002. Looking at the Help Menu suggests that it might have been substituted for the Run command, or have I got it wrong?
Regards
Terence
