for some reason my Windows 2003 server is no longer launching installers when I click on ANY msi package, it acts like its going to launch then brings up the Windows Installer pop up window that you get when you feed a msi file the /?
I've tried reinstalling the latest windows installer to fix...

We recently installed ePolicy Orchestrator 4 and have been unable to apply Patch 3 or 4 the only ones available for download on our grant page.
The update looks promising then we get an error at the end saying it failed to apply the patch.
Any ideas on how to get the patch applied?

she has local admin privileges to her workstation as do all other users in her group..and all have the same release of Perl and environment variables from what I can tell
